Environs Australia, the Local Government Environment Network is a membership-based independent national association. Their main aim is to advance, support and strengthen the participation of Australian Local Governments in the worldwide movement of councils towards local sustainability.

ICLEI's mission is to build and serve a worldwide movement of local governments to achieve tangible improvements in global environmental and sustainable development conditions through cumulative local actions.
Sustainable Choice Sustainable Choice is the NSW sustainable procurement program for NSW local government. The Sustainable Choice program aims to increase the level of sustainable purchasing within the local government sector by supporting individual councils with information and skills sharing between councils on sustainable products and services. The Sustainable Choice website features a range of member resources including a NSW database of green products.
