ECO-Buy goes to Taiwan

In partnership with the Taiwanese Government and the Green Trade Project Office, ECO-Buy has been working to assist understanding of the trends in standards, regulations and markets for green goods in Australia. Taiwan is a major manufacturer of goods, such as solar panels and LED lights, and has a strong focus on growing international markets for its manufacturers. In September ECO-Buy’s CEO, Hugh Wareham, presented at an international conference in Taipei aimed at sharing knowledge and trends in green goods and sustainable procurement. Other presenters were from the UK, Canada, Japan and South Korea.

As part of the event, ECO-Buy has supported an International Green Partnership Initiative aimed at promoting green trade, supporting learning and developing international cooperation.
